Summary Judgment Decision

In Spring of 2015 the Property Insurance Companies, Illinois Union (Plaintiff) and Great American (Plaintiff), filed a motion for Summary Judgment. The attorneys at Reed Smith, who represent Grandview (Defendant), have responded with thorough opposition papers to this motion in Summer of 2015. In early fall of 2015 Reed Smith had filed a separate motion for Summary Judgment on behalf of the Grandview. The case has been submitted to Judge Oing for consideration.

On December 9, 2016, Plaintiff's motion for Summary Judgment was denied. The Case will continue moving forward toward Trial.Defendant's motion for Summary Judgment was also denied. The council meeting with Judge Oing is scheduled for January 12, 2017.
