Annual Unit Owner's Meeting Notice

Annual Meeting

The Grandview Palace Home Owners’ Association will have their annual unit owners’ meeting on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. It will be held at:

Sullivan Seelig Theatre - Sullivan County Community College - SUNY Sullivan Campus

112 College Road, Loch Sheldrake, New York 12759

The door will open at about 12:30 pm in order to allow sufficient time for unit owners to sign-in. Only GVP Unit owners will be permitted to attend (max of two people per unit). You must bring photo ID.

Currently there are no positions on the Board of Managers that are open.

Coverage Case Litigation Update

In spring of 2015 the Property Insurance Companies, Illinois Union and Great American, filed a Motion for Summary Judgment. The attorneys at Reed Smith, a top-ranked law firm in the field of insurance litigation, have responded with thorough opposition papers to this Motion in summer of 2015 and in early fall of 2015 had filed a separate Motion for Summary Judgment on behalf of the Grandview. The case has been submitted to Judge Oing for consideration.

Originally, the Court was going to schedule oral arguments on the Motions for early spring of 2016, but then concluded that it would be able to reach a decision on the papers without further argument. Judge Oing's decision on the pending Motions from the Insurance Companies' Attorneys and the Grandview Palace Attorneys will be forthcoming.
